Flightline: Week 3

we had a great weekend! Yesterday was career day...so we had to go in early on a Saturday morning and listen to a bunch of pilots talk about the lifestyles associated with different airframes... it was actually really informative and Teri sat through the whole thing with me... After that their was a B-2 flyover (pretty sweet) and we also had an A-10 demo, but we got to go into the KC-135, C-130J, E-3 Sentry, F-15E, F-16CJ, and the A-10...they had a KC-10 on the ramp as well, but we didn't get to walk around inside of it...oh well... Teri also had an interview on Thursday and it went really well, so hopefully she will find out this week if she gets it or not...Last Monday I started out the week not flying very well, but greatly improved throughout the week...I flew 4 times last week and had an EP(emergency procedure) sim and my first Instrument sim as well...I guess i'm doing pretty well so far, but it is like drinking from a fire hose...you go up with your IP(instructor Pilot) and they show you at least 3 new things per flight, and after they show those to you; you are supposed to be proficient...so you have to practice it on the ground in your head in order to somewhat be proficient the next time you fly...and because the mighty T-37 tweet chews up gas at roughly 1000lbs per hour(that's like 150gal/hr) it ensures the tax payers get the most out of their money...anyways the studying must start again and we hope everyone had a great weekend...oh just to let you guys know(we do enjoy reading the comments, and their hasn't been any in quite a long time, so if you have questions or you like our blog,or want to say anything...please do)
